POSSIBLE LICENSEES OR POSSIBLE DISTRIBUTION FOR TRIPLE TOPPER

In the last few months, I submitted my card game to a couple different companies. One company had one guy who liked the idea, but had to convince his partners to like it. But he got sick by the time he was supposed to bring it up in a meeting. When he got better, it was time to promote current stock of their existing games, so I will know hopefullyt by Dr King day. They are 4J ENterprises, and their website is
scumthegame.com. Another company whom I contacted, when I describe the game over the phone, said they'll look at the games. Then I snail mailed it to him. He said the premise was exatly as described. I told him that you don't have to like all the games to take the system. I am able to like all my "children". He most likely agrees. He's probably only going to take one game and feature it. But he'll put in the package that other games are on my website. The company is Continuum Games, and their website is continuumgames.com Those are the 2 that are most vocal in one guy saying they like it.

There was new company who said they were interested, but has to wait a couple of years before they can pursue it. The are North Star Games Finally, there's a German company Adlung Spiele said they'll either start reviewing it or finish reviewing it by the end of this month. Can anyone say "moegliches Spiel des Jahres"? (possible Game of the Year. If I weren't so humble, I would drop the "moegliches", but since I can't guarantee it, I'll be considered lucky if I'm eligible, being an American and all.) I don't think this company sells to American stores, or the others to Europe, therefore, more than one company could print it. And I don;t mean to leave out other companies reviewing it. It's still open.

My homemade deck got good reviews from a few other people, and I think if none of these companies above make this game, I can make it myself. Distribution is tough. But I can entice small stores by making small quantities, as small as one. I've just got to start the game store tour, and see if they think it's popular enough and professional enough.

FOUND POSSIBLE DISTRIBUTER FOR TRIPLE TOPPER CARDS.

I found a company willing to distribute my card game to distributers. So hopefully soon, you'll see the Triple Topper decks sold in independent game and comic stores. However, I need $1300 to start making decks. My seller is saying the optimal price that combines best quantity and price/unit unit for me is $12.95 THEREFORE I'm offering 100-150 PRE-SALES decks, with the boxed signed by me, Brian Ciesicki, as soon as we raise the $1300. Note there is a $5.50 me-to-any US address shipping. International orders, please email me first. Oh by the way, if you wish to wait, once the 100 decks are ordered, I will order 500 decks as my first run. Which means 400 decks are floating around in stores. Don't worry, if the other 400 sell, we'll make more.

One more IMPORTANT note about these decks: These are NOT semi-pro handmade decks, made by me. These will be machine manufactured in Taiwan (Read "Why Taiwan?" below) which will feel like a regular casino playing card, with their slip and grip and snap (which is better than my handmade decks) and still being able NOT to see through it, (the main purpose of a card deck) though the prints and the cuts are aligned right, and half the thickness of my homemade cards (both of which are better things, compared to my deck) and only a dollar more, and you STILL get it signed by me on the box, plus it will expose other people to the game, what's not to love about this deck?.

Well, you won't get it right away. If you want to, you can order a collector's handmade deck for $7.00 more as a promotional offer if you order the Pro deck, you'll set a semi-pro deck sent to you right away for your play RIGHT NOW., so for $19.95, you get a collector's semi-pro deck for now, and pro deck once it comes out for later. Then if this game becomes popular, you have a collector's item: a handmade Triple Topper deck.

Add US$5.50 US Priority + Confirmation for US Customers for the Pro Deck only. Add US$11.00 shipping to US with Priority for both the Handmade deck now, and a second shipment later once the games are released. International addresses ship the money manually to "tripletopper AT earthlink DOT net" via paypal.com with the amount of desired shipping to your country at a desired speed, either USPS or UPS. Also note, none of the money will be spent until either all 100-150 signed decks are purchased, or until July 4th 2008, where people can request refunds if I don't pre-sell 100-150 decks by then. Look, I know I'm not Harry Potter, so I know I might have to refund those few purchases. So I won't spend it until either 100-150 decks are sold, or I've refunded it all.

Click Here to go to my store and pre-order a Professional deck.

"Why Taiwan?"
Taiwan, which is the free peoples of China is a lot better than mainland China. Between the missiles that Clinton gave them, the babies they kill off via forced abortion, {regardless of what you think of voluntary abortion, being forced to kill babies by the Chinese government is way beyond wrong on many accounts.} and the Melmac dog food and possibly HUMAN Food, as well as the tires that fall apart spontaneously, I wouldn't be surprised if these cards, if they were from the People's Republic of China (as opposed to the People Republic of Miavia where the People's Champ will flex the People's Eyebrow, and lay the smackdown on all the enemies' candy @$$*$) if there would be a paper cut virus laced on my cards. Therefore no China for me. Luckily my distributer knows a custom card shop in Taiwan, which is FREE China. There they are not sworn America-Haters, unlike the P.R.C. Also it's also the smallest quantity without being a "promotional" run. No American company can do it for that short of a run for that cheap.

SKILL UPDATE
Sorry for such a long delay in news. Apparently, James couldn't do it, so I was hightailing it to get a person named Galen to program the games. Since it was easier to program seven Card Stud and 5 Card Draw with Texas Hold Em, Joker games with no-Joker games, and 5-suited and Triple Topper with Regular Cards, it was decided that all would be programmed together. And Galen thought the games programmed before by James to be worthless. So he had to start from scratch.

AD PROJECT THAT PAYS AVERAGE PLAYERS

Another project, from the same company that will spread my Texas Hold Em Skill Game for money, will sell ad space of my game and make me a living. IT's GreatDayGames.com, a company that gives prizes for playing games. They like my ad code. And they like the concept of a 3-dimensional card game. This one company I hired will clean up the game, make it more user friendly, and add a Bruise Jack CPU opponent. It should be done soon too. Watch for the ability to win free prizes for playing Triple Topper.

GreatDayGames.com originally said they'd accept a Java version of Triple Topper. Recently, they told me it would have to run in Flash. So I'm seeing if this proramming firm can have Flash Game send and receive Cookies that can be used n HTML and Java. The important data is id and password in and games played and won out. I'm seeing if it's possible. If not, I'll have to find another way.

GreatDayGames is a site where you play for treats, and treats can possibly win prizes. And best of all, it's free to play and try to win.

BETTER DECK FOR SALE
The free card looked like the left against a bright light from the back. A little cheesy. Now we offer cards which looks like the card on the right from the back. $11.99 US for a full deck. Click on the picture of the 2 cards to buy a deck. We accept PayPal.

SKILL UPDATE
Texas Hold 'Em was recently promised by the End of September. I'm not sure if Aadesh can finish by them, but I'd rather wait than pay more. As soon as that's done, I could get Triple Topper Poke'm Texas Hold 'Em Style worked on for all the true Triple Topper fans. Note that this can be played as a skill game for money, or just for fun. Click on
here to read about skill gaming.

VASAL ENGINE UPDATE

I have finished developing a Triple Topper game using the Vassal engine. You can play up to 12 players, and you can play any of the Triple Topper games evedntually. Currently about 5-6 games could be played. First you have to download VAssal Engine here. And to play Triple Topper, go here to go to the Triple Topper Vassal Page. Go to files to download a module. And go to PLayers to register to play a game.

PLAY TRIPLE TOPPER FOR MONEY ON UP TO 2 WEBSITES.

Cyop said they weren't interested in me, because I offended their business sense and honesty. I'm Sorry Cyop company (It's been so long since I talked to them that I forgot my contact, I think his name was Mitch. I should not have ask if there was a way I could track the number of skill players playing. I should have trusted you. And if you want to come back, hopefully no hard feelings.) So I looked elsewhere for a skill-gaming vendor. After a year of looking, I got an offer from Gamedek.com, they would have accepted my game, except the games were programmed in Java and needed to be programmed in Flash. Plus there was no clickable demo and it didn't look like a familiar computer card game. But they did like the concept of 3-D cards. So they told me to convert the games, and they'd put it on.

Meanwhile I contacted MegaDollarGames.com last September 2004, but they had many delays, first it was new game season, them by the new year it was taxes. Then after April 15 they got backlogged. So they told me to call in August 2005. I believe they accept Java games, so the 3 current games (with a couple of modifications) should work.
I recent found an Indian programmer willing to program my translation for $400 But they said My Java code was not easy to translate, so they'd program a game fresh. Since I had to pay for a fresh programming, Since I know Poker, especially Texas Hold 'Em, is popular, I decided to have a Poke'm Hold 'Em game programmed it should be finished in 2-4 weeks from July 15th, so that would be August 15th INSTEAD of the trasnslation of an existing game. So you'll get a new game to play against multiple CPU opponents. Note there's no humans to play against, because it's originally programmed to be a skill game.

As soon as it's officially released, a link will be posted on my website, both here and on my skill page. P.S. To understand the difference between gambling and skill gaming, click on above link. Not available to risk money in order to win money in certain jurisdictions. See the Skill site for Details. Game is free to play for everyone.

LOOKING FOR TEST HUMANS TO PLAY VASSAL ENGINE TRIPLE TOPPER DECK

I cannot get any of my friends to play Triple Topper on Vassal, they are all too busy. So I'm trying to recruit a tester to see if Triple Topper could be played on Vassal. So if you are interested in playing any of the games not made into an online game played just between us humans online, email me here

NEW WAY TO PLAY WITH WILDS IN POKE'M.

Go to
the Poke'm (or Poker-like) Page to see a new way to play with wilds that is more challenging. Instead of using 4 cards, you use five in a hand. Ad yu need one wild to make a one-of-each.

POSSIBLE CARDS COMING OUT

If I find the right labels, I'll make Triple Topper Cards that are better than the ones you print for free. The good news is you can not see through the backs of cards, no matter how much light you shine on it. But unfortunately, I can't figure out how to get a casino feel. The bad news is it's not the cheapest way to make it, but the good news is that I make them on demand, so I won't have a stack of thousands of decks lying in my house.

NEW VERSION OF POKE'M AND VODKAPOLIS 500

After testing a couple a new different version of Poke'm, it was found to be easier to explain and more like Regular Poker. The only thing listed are hands. Feel free to use any exitsing version or even making your own version, just like Regular Poker. Click on the Poke'm link
here. The older version is available on a link on that page.

Changed in Vodkapolis 500 are variations that make the game slower. Why make a game slower? In Rummy 500 I never had a hand I could go out all at one with. But in the first published rules of Vodkapolis 500, there were quite a few hands where someone could go out right away. If you play, you should know that. But the pre-published version had no wilds, and it was too slow. Both that pre-published version and the newest version, with no wilds and uses a Squares deck are published. In testing, the Squares deck version works at the right speed. Go here to see the descrpiption under "Another Note".

AD RESPONSE STARTING WELL.

I have sold 4 new ads. Which gets to my next point, instead of $2.49/30 weeks it's DOWN TO $.99/30 weeks. That comes to less than 15 cents a month. And you're guaranteed 30 weeks at least. Less is more. When it was sold for $2.49 I sold no ads. Better $4 than $0.

CRAZINESS ONLINE GAME BACK ONLINE
First a guy who typed in his name as Sanchez tried to play Craziness. I'd like to thank him for being curious. Second, he stopped after the cards were first dealt, he didn't even declare what the question mark was. I joined him/her in the game. I tried typing to Sanchez, Sanchez didn't respond. After 10 minutes, I thought he left, so I tried to boot the Sanchez name out if he wasn't there, and get his attention if he was there. IT was reset, and Sanchez was still there. So I put up 4 CPU people, it gave the same hand, and Sanchez still had to call a question mark as something. Then I waited for two hours, and Sanchez and I are in the same situation, left unchanged. I concluded something was wrong, so I called James Ranson, my Programming Employee/Business Partner/Internet friend, even though he's got Graduate School work, so when it's convenient for him, he'll look at it and try to fix it. So in the meantime, CRAZINES WILL BE MALFUNCTIONING UNTIL JAMES FIXES IT. And since James is busy with graduate school work, give it a little time. Keep watching the top of the main page for updates. Next update will be as needed.

That's what I wrote yesterday. And James Isolated the problem and fixed it temporarily, and has code to diagnose this error in the future. So GAME ON!

SAME ADS FOR CHEAPER
When i called Mark on his phone the last couple of days, the number got disconnected, so I was thinking maybe now's the time to sell it myself. After all, I had better luck than he did. Plus I don't have to pay him 25%. But I do have to pay 35 cents for listing and 30 cents for paypal. But to make up for the higher per unit price than want I would want to sell it for, (2.49 instead of .99), it will be up there for 30 weeks, compared to what was advertised under Mark Weber as one month before. So now I can't reach him, link to a more detailed explanation and my ad link
here Happy bidding.

MORE GAMES USED TO IMPROVE SEARCH RATINGS AND ADD MORE LINKS.

The person told me to add their links and I'd improve on my Search Ratings, and it's free. They solicited me, so I'll give it a shot. If significant increase in web traffic does not occur within 6 months, I'll abandon them. But if more people come, and more importantly, more advertising revenue comes of it, they'll remain on the bottom of my home page. Speaking of advertising revenue...

DYNAMIC LINK ON ADVERTISERS FIXED

When I tried to look at the ads on Ebay by using my
link, I had to keep updating the link. So within 24 hours, a permanent link to the static folder and webpage that contains a link to the current tripletopper.com ads. And no, this page will not have any of Mark's side businesses. So if you tried to purchase an ad, and got rejected by not seeing any ads on the linked page, I'm sorry, and hope this doesn't get you to try again. Mark was also wondering why the ads didn't sell well. Hopefully, this will solve it. Otherwise, be patient with us. We'll nail it eventually.

MORE GOOD OPTIONS FOR DISTRIBUTION

Cyop said no to Triple Topper. So now we're looking at other companies. One of them, letsplay.com, has FREE skill-based gaming. (Ads pay for the jackpot.) Others are skill-wagering, where we'd get as percentage of the entry fees, (approximate equivalent to the "house" in gambling institutions, but legal in more states) Note the first option is free for all, but pays out less money. And the second options pays out more money, and is more likely you'll money, but you have to pay to enter. So email me here
to tell me which option is better.

PRICE REDUCED ON ADS

Now it's down to $1.00 . But the catch is that it's an auction. So if the popularity goes up, so does the price. Click here to get more info.

REAL PROFESSIONAL CARDS COMING SOON MADE BY ME.
NEW AD BROKER FOR TRIPLE TOPPER

Apparently Fundex and Ravensburger said no to Triple Topper. Apparently one thought it was too similar to other games, the other thought it was so unique that no one would relate to it. So that gives me no choice but to publish the game myself. I found a possible distributer. I don't know what his terms are. So I'm trying to see how much it costs to print a deck and how many he'll buy. More word as it comes out.

NEW AD BROKER FOR TRIPLE TOPPER
IT's costing too much money to sell ads on Ebay and paying a 30 cents an auction fee. So I hired a professional. Click

SKILL GAMING DELAYED AGAIN.

James gave me an idea of how much it will take to get it ready. He said it will take anywhere from early July to early September, but most realistically in August. For details on how a skill based game works,

REAL PROFESSIONAL GRADE TRIPLE TOPPER CARDS MAYBE COMING SOON.
I have at least 2 companies very seriously considering making professional Triple Topper cards. The companies are Fundex Games of Indianapolis, Indiana, USA, and Ravensburger Games of Ravensburg, Germany. If one of these two companies agree that this is a good game, you'll see these professional cards available in stores. If Fundex takes it, you'll see them mostly in the USA, while if Ravensburger takes it, you will see them mostly in Europe. Both have a worldwide distribution. So you'll see some wherever you are.

If you want to see a professionally printed version of Triple Topper Cards, please, send an email to frank.weiss@ravensburger.de (Note: he writes and speaks in perfectly good English as well as German, even though it's a German email address.) and/or ryanw@fundexgames.com

SKILL GAMING MUST BE CHANGED TO CONFORM
The company we are working with said our games are okay, but we must modify them. Apparently what one person told me about the legality of skill gaming is wrong. A different person compared the situation we had before to 2 side-by-side basketball basketball games. An NBA All-star plays against an NBA bench player, while at another court, a College B-Ball player plays against someone who doesn't have any organized experience and has only a mild interest and ability in Basketball. The way it was set up is so that the College player would win, because of the randomness of opponents, which is illegal under skill based competitions. And now I see his point. So there are 2 ways we can go about this, either rotate, but I see a problem with memorizing cards used in play, then the luck factor would be who played which hand first. So it's everyone against the CPU individually. That does two things, opens up monster jackpots, (Imagine $100 on a $1.10 bet if 100 people play.) And it prevents card memorization.

Also James is adding a few more additions, like a 3 second pause between CPU opponents, so if you play more than one, you can see everyone's plays, a shuffle indicator, so you can tell when cards recycle, tests to make sure the randomness is the same assuming same plays made, in Six Suit, a CPU veto and a garbage pile shown, and finally a link to the rules on each game, as well as a link to the card and deck makeup. He says it might take longer than Memorial Day (May 31st for non-Americans) but he'll have a better idea in a week.

So as a reminder of skill based gaming whoever dominates the computer the most wins. So if you beat the computer, you haven't necessarily won the cash yet. So don't complain if you "win" (in the sense of beating the CPU) yet don't receive the money. All that means is that someone beat the CPU worse.

SKILL GAMING MAY COME BY MEMORIAL DAY 2004

In a week we'll know whether one company will allow us to put our game on their network. Then if they say "YES" it will take another 3-4 weeks to get James to hacker-proof the game, and program in a skill-based scoring. Bruise jack will be first for skill. In it, you try to get as close to 11, a 5-card Guile, or Bruise Jack as possible over a series of so many hands, taking no more than 8 minutes. Everyone is given the exact same shuffle, it depends how you play it. Also Craziness and Six Suit will be skill-based yet multiplayer. The secret is some person's patented method as I will describe here:

Let's say there are four 4 player games: Players are designated 1A, 1B, 1C, and 1D at one table, 2A, 2B, 2C and 2D at another, and so forth for 4 tables. (Note for big jackpots, there'd be way more than 4 tables, but to simplify things let's just use 4 tables.) The letters correspond to a deal, meaning 1A, 2A, 3A, and 4A will have the exact same starting situation. So will 1B, 2B, 3B, and 4B. xA xB xC and xD compete against each other. And there situations will be the same until a differing strategical decision splits the root. Example, in Six Suit, 1A defends what he can alone, 2A uses the same first move to attack 2C and 3A Decides to team up with 3D temporarily to get rid of 3B. Then the B's react to possibly up to 4 different situations. Then the C's react to most likely 4 different situations. And so forth. Each of these cards will be the same, but intertwining decisions will usually put someone ahead or behind faster. Let's assume 1A wins Table 1, 2C wins Table 2, 3C wins table 3, and 4B wins table 4. 1A wins the A pool and 4B wins the B pool because Because they are the only member with that letter to win a game. C and D are a little more complex. Since 2C and 3C both one, a tie breaker has to be applied. In Six suit, it will be if you win, whoever wins in the quickest number of moves wins. So if 3C had victory in 27 moves and 2C had victory in 41 moves, 3C wins the C Pool. Likewise, someone has to win the D pool. Because no one won their game, a tiebreaker would be used to see who lost the least. In Six Suit, the method is whoever stays around for the most turns wins.
We're only stating this because an informed wagerer is our best friend. And we don't want people to complain, that they won the hand, but didn't win money, so read the above paragraph if you don't understand multi-player skill wagering. And note it's patented by someone else, but the patent owner works for this company we're working with, and they take a percentage of the juice we make. Keep watching for updates.

NEW LOOK, BUG FIXED, FUTURE OF TRIPLETOPPER.COM

1. I understand some people wont print the cards because it's too expensive. So I have a new look with less ink used. Mom says it looks better than the old look. Click on fronts (
above )to see them and a special back used for page 13 if you choose not print on the backs, but use the Bruise Jack chits often.

2. An error in Six suit was found by me, and confirmed by James. I'm just shocked that nobody emailed me with the error, so I could have had James fix it sooner. Before, the last computer player wouldn't play, and you'd be waiting forever.

3. As we look for more revenue sources, we discovered one thing. Some people will only play cards if there is money on the line. Hoping to tap into such an audience, James is setting up a "controlled-luck, skill-based, wagering" game using Triple Topper and some public domain games. James will make sure there's a skill-based portion of the game, and we'll outsource a collection/payout system and a data base system. All I have to do is research the legalities of a US/Canadian business relationship in case this takes off, and give James until at least Easter, and we'll team up with a group that has at least 100 thousand members, all willing to wager on their games. Don't worry, you can still play for free if you choose not to wager. Keep watching for updates.

Bug Discovered

Apparently certain PC's will not be able to click on the ads offered on the cards. You MIGHT need to hold 'control' while right clicking to get to the ad. Apparently, I've been the only one clicking on my ads. Now I know why. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Casino Macedonia Rule Change:

Joker rules have been modified to have an even number of cards in play, and more possibilities of ties. Also a collection bonus is added. Collect all 5 yellow hearts, and get a 50 point bonus. Get four or less, and you get nothing (except it counts as a card, and the yellow heart 1 as a 1).

Bruise Jack is Online

The game similar to Black Jack except in 3 dimensions is online as of Dr. King Day. (Today) To read the rules to this game click
here. And Play it online here. Note that this is a preliminary version, which may confuse beginners. Plus it's only a 2 player game and no computer opponent. By Thursday, you can play with more players, and the layout will be more beginner-friendly. But computer opponents will take significantly longer.

NEW TRIPLE TOPPER GAMES

Starting today, you can read the rules for
Triple Topper Toe, a 3D-Tic-Tac-Toe game using Triple Topper Cards, and 2 interperatations of Solitaire. Mine is called Lake Effect solitaire , and James Ranson's is called Saskatchewan Solitaire

NEW ONLINE GAMES BY DR KING DAY

James is simultaniously working on Bust the Dafuhzit and Bruise Jack, alternating between the 2. At least one should be finished by DR. King Day.

WAITING FOR MEDIA-SPARK TO SEND US CONTRACT

Media Spark is planning to send a contract for a cell phone version of Triple Topper games. It's been almost a month. I'll email them again and get a response.

NEW MULTI-PLAYER ACTION:

Now Six Suit can be played with either 2, 3, or 4 players, in any mix of humans and computers. However, there is no such thing as negotiation AI from the computer, so can't propose or accept deals because there are more complex issues of it deciding and communicating with a human. Plus it would be unfair if the cmputer consired aggainst you, (unless you deserve it by being in the catbird seat of 3 or less of each variable.) and the point is you wouldn't know it, so everyone playing for themselves is the best solution. Play Six Suit on the link above. If t=you don't know how to play, a link to the rules will be on the game page.

Likewise Craziness now takes 2-6 players in the elimination game. A link to play is above in the big text. A link to the rules is laced in 3 or 4 different places, including just before the game starts.

NEW GAMES COMING SOON

Within a week I'll have rules published to a 3-D Tic-Tac-Toe variant that I made, and, yes, someone has submitted the rules to a Triple Topper Game not made by me. James Ranson, my programming friend, has developed a Klondike-like Solitaire game using Triple Topper Cards. So I'll ask him permission to reprint his rules he sent to me via email.

September 30 2003:

SIX SUIT HAS COMPUTER OPPONENTS.

Now Six Suit has an A.I. opponent. There is one glaring problem, the computer hasn't indicated a veto. If it has, let me know. So I don't know how a veto works for the other person.

CRAZINESS AI FIXED

Now it looks like if one human plays against 2 computers, the computer will sometimes attack (dare I say it) the other computer with the Triple Toppers. Now the odds are not stacked against you.

PROBLEMS WITH SERVERS

My hired programmer and recently-made friend, James Ranson understands my program than I do. That's because he programmed it. I'm just the creative genius and webmaster for this project. So when It came time to find a server, we had many problems. I didn't know whether it was applets or servlets, and he told me on thing. As soon as I committed to a host with a 30 day moneyback guarentee, James told me itwuldn't work, and now I'm trying to get a hold of the host, looking for a refund. More as this progresses.

JAMES'S LAUNDRY LIST

Everything we said last time was done, except the an any-player version of my games. But James made a Six Suit AI first in 2-player mode only. Probably because the 3-or more player AI was too tough, with all that negotiating the computer has to propose and listen to. We're making the Six Suit AI last because of he importance of negotiating, which is not present in the two-player version of Six Suit. Eventually, we'll have any-player version of all our games (with any mix of humans, computers, vacancies, and teams) But if James works on an any-player version first, it will mean future games will be delayed. So tell me by emailing here
and telling me whether you want to make more versions of Triple Topper to play online, or perfect the ones we have now.

COMPUTER OPPONENTS ADDED TO CRAZINESS, NEWS ABOUT WHAT'S NEXT

James Ranson has successfully programmed computerized opponents for Craziness. The two player version is good, however the three player version has a bug where each computer enemy attacks the first player, so the second player would have a slight advantage if he were human, and in a 1-human-vs-2-computers game, both computers seem to double team you. But that's being worked on. The 3-player version is currently for people who think nothing is impossible. (At this point, Jim and Tim would say, "Anything's possible..." "...for a Possible", but then I'd say "But what about all the rest of us who have to live in the real world".)

After fixing that glaring bug, next will come rendering cards for faster loading, a "card played" indicator in Six Suit, then an any-player version of my games, and then finally, a CPU opponent for Six Suit. We're making the Six Suit AI last because of he importance of negotiating, which is not present in the two-player version of Six Suit. So first comes the any-player verison of Six Suit, (with any mix of humans, computers, vaancies, and teams) then the AI.

1 ERROR FIXED, ANOTHER BEING WORKED ON, FREE AD GIVEAWAY:

Recently, James Ranson told me to have my host start the server, to run the Online Game on my site instead of James's. Apparently, my host did and connection failed. So a few people experiencing technical difficultiers with Triple Topper Craziness noted that the site pointed to my Online page instead of the Ranson Page. We haven't fixed it, but instead went o the Ranson server. If that caused any inconvience, sorry, but try again. You should be able to play now.

However there is one error I noticed while looking at my site inventory while this was trying to work, and it's a problem ever since I went with my own site instead of a Register.com pointer to my Earthlnk site. It's corrected, and it's something more major than a mistyping corrected or the correction mentioned above. First one to email with a problem they noticed last month that got fixed will win a free ad for as long as it takes. Email me here,
and if you're the first with the correct answer, you win a free ad.

HOW TO MAKE CARDS MORE PRACTICAL:
The US government printed decks of playing cards with pictures of Wanted Iraqis. (By the way, If the Joker is the most powerful card, why wasn't Sadam one of the Jokers) They helped soldiers recognize the enemies of freedom in a fun way.

My deck is a little different, It's a copyrighted set of cards, (meaning you'll find this no where else.) and the messages on the cards are hit jobs, but in a different sense of the word, these are websites to place a hit on, or even use their service. Show your patronage, because a new OVERLOOKED, yet very important feature will complete the picture...

COMPUTER OPPONENTS COMING SOON
I saw James Ranson has used computer intelligence to test a game in his previous NebulaCards. So it should be pretty easy to persuade him to make computer intelligence for my website. Because human opponents are really tough to find. Also I'll ask him for an "any player version" without any change in server ports, by having at the beginning menu, the first player to designate computer opponents, human opponents, vacancies and partnerships, so in Six Suit, a player can play a 2 player game, a 12 individual game, or anywhere in between. And there should be an "interrupt me when another human is online" feature, so people don't fear missing human opponents when they play against the computer. And hopefully, this will encourage more people to stay on tripletopper.com, play the games, and make it easier to meet.

REUMINATIONS ON INDEPENDENCE DAY:

James Ranson's Servers are back online, so play all you want. In the meantime, I feel a little patriotic, and since Independence Day is a Great holiday, let me share what I feel about the United States.

227 Years ago, a great nation was founded. A nation where the weakest of people in the eyes of the world can make something of themselves. A nation where you can do you whatever you want, and try to make people pay for your service and/or product. A nation where excellence is awarded.

For example, in China, the biggest rivals to the USA in World Cup Soccer, they take a girl when she's shows potential to play Soccer and say, "You will play Soccer...or else...". Things are different in the Land of the Free, if a girl likes to play soccer, her mother, father, and friends support her. She practices as long as she wants, and if someone desires to be on the World Cup team enough, she practices as long and plays as hard as she can. Her parents help her with other decisions like education and nutrition among others. And if she has enough talent, desire, and practice, she'll make it on the team. As to who's going to win, a team of volunteers or recruits, look at it this way. The most world cups were won by the United States, 2. The only other country to win is China with 1. The only reason China won is they have a potential talent pool of a billion people. And I predict volunteers who volunteer to be excellent shall triumph over people threatened by a communist state. USA!USA!USA!

Just like the World Cup and almost any other endevor, our military is currently fighting in Iraq voluntarily. And all the news said Iraq would win because they got recruits. However the reason we won was because our military, from the President to the Privates to the private contractors had a desire and ability to do well in some part of defending our country. I don't think my lack of certain abilities would make me a good front-line soldier. So I thank everyone in the military for fighting both for and in place of me.

Everybody has a reason to live. Everyone has a contribution to society. However most of the time, when I try a job, it fails after 1 year or sooner. I try my hardest, but it's either hard to do the work, so my lack of perfection takes over and I do something stupid. I never repeated the same mistake twice. But I am thought to be chronically unemployable. So much so that my mom and dad want to put me on Social Security Disability. And they may be right. However I do not aspire to just a government check. I created Triple Topper, Tripletopper.com, as well as having a few other ideas down the pike. I hope one day this becomes big. I do it in hopes of making a comfortable life for myself. I don't wantto live month to month on SSI. So if you want to help one American succeed, then try Triple Topper. See the rules, Play online. Both are Free. And if you have a business and or message you want sent out, please click
here to see if you'd like to buy ad space on Triple Topper cards. Note this is my only source of income, and it would be greatly appeciated if people come, click, and even buy ads. I'm depeding on you, and I'm thanking you if you happen to read this. If you know a good way to spread my free game, contact me here and tell me how to spread it around.

Thank you. May you achieve what you desire as long as it's within the law, and if you believe in him, may God bless you, and America too.

ONLINE GAME PROGRAM TEMPORARILY OFFLINE

When I decided to transfer Craziness Online to my host, I finally realized that james Ranson gave me a .zip file of the .javas, not any of the .jars. Plus I can't figure out how to .jar files using JJEdit for the Macintosh. And because he is pursuing an opportunity, he can't be reached for help. Also Six Suit, which he never gave me the source code for, as well as his hosted Craziness site, is not loading, maybe because he took his computer on a trip and is not plugged in. The point is I cannot run games on his server or mine. Hopefully we can resolve it in a week. In the meantime: Read rules for Six Suit
here. If you already know how to play, check to see if it will let you into the game here.

SIX SUIT GETS ONLINE TREATMENT

TripleTopper.com is proud to announce the lastest member of the online family. It's called Six Suit. Ideally, Six suit is supposed to be a cutthroat game. But you must crawl before you can walk. So a 2 player version is given, and it can be thought of like a chess-mattch style war of attrition. Read rules
here. If you already know how to play, jump into the game here.

NEW HOST FOUND.

A certain local host will host the entire website, including the JAVA-Based games, on their servers, with unlimited bandwidth. So When July 1st or sonner hits, play all the games you want, it's unlimited bandwidth. And if you have a tough time finding an opponent email me here put "community" in the subject line, and arrange a time to play, and either I or some other Triple Topper player who will see a pseudonym and time and day to play will log in and challenge you. I'll post it on the website.

DOWNTIME:

Sorry about the downtime. I was going to pay for and get ftp info for the new web site, but they didn't call yesterdaay, and they won't be in until Monday. So I had to call the domain name place to get it back to web forwarding to my Earthlink site. Sorry if I missed you.

MANY BUGS FIXED -- 3 PLAYER VERSION ADDED.

The game now plays right in the 2 player mode, but the 3 player mode has a couple of bugs concerned with elimination. Also The server it's curently running on is running at 100 percent during a 3 player game, so the bugs still have to be fixed. As soon as it's finished, it will be put on a paid server.

NEW COMMUNITY PAGE OPEN

Because it's hard to fin an opponent to play Triple Topper, I'll make it easier. Email me here
with the time you can play, and I'll either play you, or if you wish, I'll post your pseudonym along with your time you want to play so others can play against you. And best of all the price is right...it's free. (Except if you want to advertise.)

April 26 2003:

ONLINE GAME READY, BUT A LITTLE BUGGY

James Ranson has finished a preliminary version of Triple Topper Craziness. However, It's currently a little buggy. Here are my top 5 caveats. Play with care:

1. Wild cards do not show on the discard pile. Instead, the card that you choose it to be is on the pile instead (If you put a Black Blob 3 on a red square 2, assuming you call the black=red and blob=square, then the card shown is a red square 3.) This does two things. One it cheeses off any sponsors on wild cards, allowing you to only se it if you are holding it in your hand. And two, for those people trying to keep track of cards, it's impossible. (no jokes about a cartoon teen showing off her navel and saving the world) One wouldn't know if a natural or which one of 7 possible wilds that can be.

2. When starting a hand, the wilds on the initial discard card are not declared by the dealer, which makes for a weird start.

3. When declaring wilds, Black is a color choice, Blob is a suit choice, and ? is a number choice. This is redundant, it's like calling a 2 a 2 in Deuces Wild Poker. In the meantime, ignore those choices, and don't choose them.

4. There is only a 2 player mode, and no way to choose your opponent. So you'll meet some new friends until then.

5. My online strategy is to not interrupt the game. So James Ranson will eventually program in Bookmarks by shift-clicking the card with the ad you want, so you play the game, and visit your sponsor when you're done. And you can't shift click when you see a card on the discard you want to visit.

6. Finally, it's hard to make an informed choice without knowing how many cards your opponents have. So pay close attention.

7. And eventually, my new scoring system will be implemented where the losers get 1 point per card + 1 point per wild element. James Ranson agrees with this change.

Remember a game is 3 hands long and there's only 2 players. More as it happens.

ONLINE GAME DELAYED

Due to Mr. James Ranson having tough academics at college, the online game is delayed until April 28th or sooner.

CLH NOT MAKING TRIPLE TOPPER CARDS

This path for making Triple Topper Cards is not seeming to work. However, if you want to buy a deck of Triple Topper cards, email Jack at
gaming@lvcm.com. Tell jack the price you' re willing to pay for such cards. Please note that we need a total of at least 1440 decks requested to make a run of decks. So if you like the game, get them to print it, even on plain paper glued to index cards, and tell them they can buy one if there's enough support. Also note it's a triple deck, and a major triple deck game (Skip BO) costs $7.50 So such a small run might cost $15-$20. But look how many games you can play with this $15-$20

TRYING TO GET IN RETAIL STORES:

I'm trying to send Triple Topper to Toys R Us and Kay Bees, to see if they'd carry it in the store. Already Wizards of the Coast are willing to buy 500, let's see if we can get it to the 1440 needed by CLH.

JAMES RANSON ON PACE FOR CRAZINESS.

Mr. Ranson will have a JAVA version of Triple Topper Craziness ready hopefully before April 2003 Starts. I'll keep you updated.

NEW GAMES ADDED.

I added four new games to the printable version of Triple Topper:

First is West, the first game to use the W cards, or 3 numbers, 3 colors, and 3 suits. Any of the 9 variable values can be trump.

Then is Casino Macedonia, a Cassino type game where you MUST match either the color or suit while you stack, build and add numbers.

Third is Bruise Jack, a game where Black and Blue in the right place will win it. It's Blackjack, and, unlike a certain competing company's 3-variable Blackjack, (tripli-A HACK-cards.com, at least the one they published on volume one) this actually uses all 3 variables.

And finnaly there's Tricky Dick. It was troubling trying to come up with a trick taking game using the standard rules, so I changed them radically. As far as I know, this is the first card game that can EITHER be played 4 players Cooperatively or 4 players COMPETITIVE in a cuttthroat fashion.

Click on any of the games above to see them. And until I talk to Jack from CLH, the only way you can play the new games is to print yourself out a deck, which can be done above.

Three New Updates:

First, Jpegs of images of cards hyave been converted to .png's.

Second, I have found someone willing to program Triple Topper Online (5 games' worth). James Ranson of Nebula Cards (a four-player, trick-taking series of games using JAVA) was considering branching out into other games, and is willing to make Triple Topper for the pay needed to make 5 similar games. The games will be Craziness, Memo-Match, Bust the Dafuhzit, Six Suit, and Vodkapolis 500. The programming will start part-time on March 24th, and as soon as he gives me his paypal.com account name. It may take a little while, so see this page for updates

Finally, if you've wanted professionally-made cards, instead of printing cards out, I'm negotiaing with a Las Vegas company who makes regular playing cards for them to make AD-FREE cards. Of course, you'll have to pay for them. See this page for updates

Two items, First I have funding to go through with an online version of Triple Topper. The problem is that I probably have funding for one version of the game. So if you wish to play live online human opponents for free, email me at: tripletopperATearthlinkDOTnet. >
and tell me which variation you'd like to play online. The most votes wins.

Also if you'd like to program the online game site for cash, and are an elance member, got to Elance.com and access your seller page and look for the user name "tripletopper" when you select search by user name. (Do not type in or copy the quotes) My budget is $300, however, it doesn't need to have fancy music and graphics. Just something simple enough to convey the concepts of as well as play the game. Also try to use a language that is Macintosh compatible if at all possible, so I can play my own game.

Two pieces of important news. First I found a partner willing to program an online Triple Topper game. In time, you can play Craziness online against real live humans.

The other item is that I, Brian Ciesicki, received an anonymous note from
somneonelikesyou.com. And I can’t guess who it is because I don’t know email addresses of any ladies I know. (I assume it’s someone I used to know.) So if you want me to guess who you are, email me at tripletopperATearthlinkDOTnet, and give me your email address so I can guess who it is.

May 9 2002
Apparently, Triple Topper was part of a critical review. What I call the main part of the review, namely the fact that Triple Topper is worth investigating. However, self-hype, the poor production value, the fact that I put advertisements on cards, and crude conservative humor should let people beware. It’s located at:
http://www.thegamesjournal.com/articles/GameSystems2.shtml

Read it then read my response.

All four points seem to coincide with each other. First the self hype is a necessity. If I don’t believe in my product enough to invest 10 years of time inventing the deck and game variations, plus a painful amount of time constructing my website with my limited web knowledge, (thankfully, I have a Mac, else it would have taken even more time.) why would anyone else want to learn my game system if I don’t think it’s a significant improvement over regular cards. You don’t hear any ads, except for ones of a satirical nature, reduce their products to either mediocrity or the bottomless abyss I can imagine my new slogan if it were up to thegamesjournal.com: ”Oh no, not another con man trying to impose a new game system on the world! Now it’s new and improved with more complicated rules, and less strategy.” The day that gets printed on my own website about my own game is the day the Earth’s core goes below 0 degrees Celsius. (that’s 32 degrees Fahrenheit for Americans) That’s something I expect from ih8tripletopper.com.

I can explain the poor production value. First of all not everyone has great drawing talent. If i did, I would scan the cards I want to be printed out. But I don’t, so you’ll have to “suffer” with computer generated cards. Secondly, the only true works of art in regular playing card, are face cards the jokers and the ace of spades. Court cards date back to history by either paying homage or mocking royalty, the ace of spades was originally a tax seal for those same royals, and the jokers came later so there was less tradition associated with the Jokers, so card makers were more free. The number cards are simplistic, either by tradition, or a lack of funds for lavish prints, or both. Likewise my cards are simple. They tell you the number, color and suit of the card, a few minor details about rank and which cards are used to build smaller decks, and the ads. (I’ll address that later) But other than that, very simplistic, Plus I boosted my jpeg quality on my cards so the ads show up better. Third my computer skills are limited. I used Appleworks to design and html code my entire site. I know little about Java, Flash, Shockwave, or even html. I did not know how to make the site work other than the way I did it. I just tested it on the web, it printed right, therefore I was satisfied. The last issue was, I has to scrape $40 together just to pay for the dot com name. If I had tens of thousands of free dollars, I would have made an interactive site. But I’m a decent programmer of computers, so I’m trying to work a deal to get an online version of the game made.

The third issue is about the ads. I want Triple Topper to be a success, so I can make some money off of it. I know a new game usually puts someone in financial straits, and I know the benefit-to-risk ratio of asking me to put these cards on the “brick and mortar” market weighed heavily towards risks, So I decided to use the internet to distribute Triple Topper. There was two ways I could make money, I could charge people for the right to print my cards, but I know few people will be willing to pay, especially on dot com based relative unknown. And I don’t want to do it for free. That’s where the ads come in. But the question becomes, why ads on the cards themselves? Two reasons, first there were famous quotes and works of art on cards before, so why not ads. Coke charges far more than basic standard cards for a Coke Ads on the backs. Besides, the free delivery system is a benefit to spread the ads. The second main reason is because quite a few web surfers ignore banner ads, so I had to put them in a place harder to ignore, and that was on the fronts themselves. Hey, it may be annoying, but don’t complain, it’s free. Instead of consumers paying, advertisers pay.

Finally, why the conservative humor? First of all, I would have put in liberal humor, the other half of the population would be choking me. Some other games get political. The game Pope Joan refers to a female pope which is impossible according to traditional Catholic teaching, but the game rewards a Pope Joan (or Nine of Diamonds), and the Americans made the Ace the highest ranking card to topple the King, so don’t say politics isn’t involved in cards. Second, the game the article is probably most concerned about is “Bust the Dafuhzit” This is actually thumbing the nose at licensed character games, where they get a license first, and work game mechanics around it. I did the reverse, took a 3-variable version of Spite and Malice, and worked a theme throughout the game Plus it made people laugh. Third as you can tell by the fact that this is is a business venture first and not some scheme to thumb the nose at regular cards, or ego satisfaction, I am a fiscal conservative, (actually, I’m a libertarian, saying people are free to love as they want to love and perform art the way they want to perform art, et al, as long as no party get artificially hurt by it, Same in the fiscal arena too. On the Political spectrum scale, that intentionally skews towards moderatism I scored 9 out of`10 in fiscal freedom and 7 out of 10 in social freedom. And Republicans are closer to the Libertarian ideal than Democrats currently, and Besides, I want to be rich, yet I’m already pretty much socially free.)But I digress, and that’s a part of me. You shouldn’t hate a product just because it’s producer is persuaded one way or the other politically. Steve Jobs is an outspoken liberal, and Bill gates is a quiet conservative, but guess which computer Rush Limbaugh, conservative talk show host, bought. The Apple, because it was a better computer. (Oh by the way, I do have Virtual PC for Mac, so Bill Gates is in my computer too, but only when I jump on the PC side.) So any liberals offended should remember, that it’s the product more than the man important in business. Heck, I’ll publish on my website a compassionately enabled version of Bust the Dafuhzit, where Reagan tax cuts, not congressional overspending caused the deficit. (Here I’d say if I pronounced it “dafuhzit”, i’d be offending the former Senator Jim Sasser, by emphasizing his weird pronunciation, so to show no bigotry towards Sasser, I’m pronouncing that word “deficit” just like most English speakers.

In short. I wanna be rich. Currently, I’m not. I’m a conservative because I want to be upwardly mobile, and I’m proud to show it. My obvious talent is making this game system, not web design or traditional artistry. And because I’m poor, I can’t hire that talent. And I know a couple fans might be poor, so I made Triple Topper accessible to them by having advertisers pay me, and not users. The only card game that my friends play that is
not for gambling purposes is Triple Topper, and since most of my friends and family like at least one version of the game, I think most people exposed to my game will like it. Even when I was submitting it to game companies and game agents, most loved it,but found it not to test well on the fad-o-meter because it didn’t have some gadget, or traditional-style card game systems are not what they are looking for, etc. Just as a Christian spreads the gospel, mainly for selfless reasons, I want to spread my “gospel”, except one reason is selfish (the bennies, or currently, a fraction thereof), the other is because I think this will contribute towards making society more fun.

May 8, 2002:

I fixed the link on front page 10, which the Godfather, one of my sponsors, pointed out didn’t work. So now it works.

After I send the idea for a Triple Topper Game show to one cable channel, they said they’ll put it on file, and they might use it later.

I found to use high quality .jpegs to get the ads clearer.

Regular cards are being postponed, because of lack of disk space.

There are a couple possible takers on my Virtual Triple Topper project, where hopefully, Triple Topper players will be able to challenge each other online. One of the is The Godfathernetwork.com who wants to do it with Flash, and ddemko.com
wants to do a Java version. Ican’t decide whether I want a Java or Flash version, I don’t know which is better for card games. I know either Java or Javascript (or maybe both) is compatible with Dreamcast, so it should also be compatible with the 3 new game systems. I don’t know about Flash compatibility.

I’m STILL (though you broke my heart...) looking for more input to see that you like (or maybe don’t like) my product. So email me at tripletopperATearthlinkDOTnet, and I’ll email you back. (assuming it has constructive criticism)

Second, there will be new games coming soon: 3 variable versions of Go Fish, Casino, Poker, Blackjack, Euchre, Rummy, Tunk, Egyptian War, and I Doubt It, as well as a game which combines 3-D Tic Tac Toe with Triple Topper Cards, are in various stages of development,

Third, regular cards are coming to tripletopper.com, with unique designs drawn by my most artistic and good in other ways friend, Scott Boggs. Plus I will post rules for my favorite regular card games.

Fourth, I’m getting hits, but not much response from either fans or critics via email. Write me at tripletopperATearthlinkDOTnet. Also, I’d like to know the HTML code which brings up an email program like Outlook Express or Netscape Communicator.

Fifth, in addition to my Ebay auction, I will sell ads directly. Write me at tripletopperATearthlinkDOTnet

Sixth, I’m looking for someone who believes in my game to program an online version of at least one game. Write me at tripletopperATearthlinkDOTnet to negotiate terms.

Finally, I’m trying to break Triple Toper into TV on a Digital Satellite/Cable channel. I can’t officially say which channel, because I don’t want to anger them by mentioning them without their permission, but keep watching this spot.
