There is a little controversy about a game of Vodkapolis 500. What happens if one variable is a mix of naturals and wilds, another variable has 2 different naturals, making that variable unmeldable, and the third all wilds?
There was an argument between me and my mom when playing Vodkapolis 500. The person who discovered the meld said it should be a special meld, worth extra points. The other said it should be an illegal meld. (Which one am I? I will tell you on a later date.)
I took it to other players I know personally. Gavin Drapp of Northfield, Ohio said that it should be a special meld. Eric DePhillips of Sagamore Hills, Ohio said that I should recruit good ideas on the internet. And Francis McAvinue of Medina, Ohio suggested it should be a regular meld, where if there is no natural card to fix the wild cards, the layer, AT THAT POINT must declare a variable randomly (of the same type, in our example there were 3 blobs, so it has to be any other shape.) and anyone who wants to poach off of it must match the declared variable (in our example, the shape) as well as the other consistant variable.
